Welcome!
Warren Township is proud to announce the formation of Warren Youth Baseball, a new youth baseball program at Warren Township Park. After more than 40 years of continued sponsorship and direction, the Gagewood Lions Club has decided to focus their efforts in other directions for the benefit of the Warren Community. We thank them for their past efforts and continued success in the future.
We are currently in the early stages of assembling a board of directors that will be responsible for setting our guiding principles and managing the day to day direction of Warren Youth Baseball beginning in 2010. Board members and open board positions will be posted in the very near future. After an initial meeting on the formation of the new board, we have identified our initial guiding principles as: player development/instruction, providing a safe and enjoyable environment, and good sportsmanship.
2009 participants should have received email notification from the Gagewood Lions Baseball Program in regards to the closing of their program and the new Warren Youth Baseball program. We will also send emails to past participants, notifying them directly of the change. Registration dates and additional information will be posted here before the end of September.
